I unlocked the Engineer's new smart gun over the weekend and holy cow is it solid. We can do, but we end up yelling at each other a lot and generally don’t have fun with it. We screw around a lot and don’t take the game very seriously and as a result get riggity-wrecked on higher haz’s. One of us has a habit if setting areas on fire regardless of what or who may be in it and we all decided to make the run up the ramp at the end spicer by lining it with various flavours of high explosives. Stay away from Gecko45 for anything above Haz 3. I'm happy to run Haz 3 with you, or Haz 4 if we have a bigger group.
The guys on "gecko45" play DRG, as do the folks in the "Clancyverse" channels. Get teamspeak configured for the arsclan server. I expect people poopsocking the Season Pass will be playing low-hazard speedruns to clear those dailies, but I really need to be doing high-XP challenges to try to level up to 25, so I'm out of sync with most of the hardcore playerbase, I think. It looks like you get a smallish amount of Season Pass leveling from mission completion XP, almost as much from optional new content (taking out an rival prospector drone), and then from the (daily?) tasks of complete X missions in X biome. I'm also in a funny place that I want to plow through the Season content, but I really need to focus on Promoting at least once, since I can't get the core rewards in the in-mission mini-games, which all the old-timers are doing every mission they can. But holy cow, I feel like I'm being Beeb'ed the amount of times I got set on fire by my own team. Certainly a lot of odd Drilling, and plenty of multi-platform use (I assume with the "bugs will go around platforms" option), that kind of thing.

Now that it has, the randos are full of veteran players with really odd behaviors, it what I assume is high-end behavior.
